The European Citizen’s Initiative for Unconditional Basic Income’s aim is to “establish the introduction of unconditional basic incomes throughout the EU which ensure every person’s material existence and opportunity to participate in society as part of its economic policy.”
It’s a petition to request the EU Commission to make a proposal for unconditional basic incomes throughout the EU. To be successful we only need one million statements of support as well as minimum thresholds in at just 7 countries before 25th June 2022.
Slovenia is the first country above the threshold, and over 200,000 people have already signed the petition. However, we need your help to make this happen.
