In our February 2026 supporters event, we will talk about YOU and YOUR choices.
When talking about Universal Basic Income (UBI), resistance is often voiced as “Group XYZ don’t deserve it.” or “They should not get it.”
In these conversation, I’m not interested what “Group XYZ” or “they” deserve or get or not get. I am interested in what YOU think, in what YOU want, in what YOU deserve.
I propose that YOU matter and YOUR situation matters too. That’s why I encourage you all to think and talk about yourself only when you think about a Universal Basic Income:
– Would it help YOU to receive a monthly income that arrives irrespective of you having a job?
– Would it help YOU if you could cover your health care costs?
– Would it help YOU make better choices because YOU can now afford them?
Only think about YOUR situation whilst we talk about UBI in our February 2026 supporters event.
